BACKEND DEVELOPER
SALARY:600,000-800,000 NAIRA

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer proficient in the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js) to contribute to our dynamic projects and help drive the success of our clients and the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Backend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions using the PERN stack.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Database Management:
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
API Development:
- Develop and maintain APIs (Node.js, Express.js) to facilitate communication between frontend, mobile and backend systems.
Integration with Frontend:
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to integrate backend services
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor backend performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance overall performance.
Security:
- Implement security best practices to protect backend services and data from unauthorised access and breaches.
Version Control and Documentation:
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and collaborate with team members.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to the backend development process.
Stay Updated with Industry Trends:
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in backend development, bringing new ideas and insights to the team.
Experience/Requirements
- At least 5 years experience as a Backend Developer
- Strong proficiency in the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js).
- Experience with database management and optimization.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development.
