JOB TITLE: SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER

Salary: 800,000-1,000,000 Naira monthly net

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using React Native, ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Lead the technical aspects of Android application development, providing mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices.
• Optimise applications for maximum performance across various Android devices and versions.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to reported problems.
• Stay updated on the latest mobile development trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into our development processes.
• Work on improving the architecture and maintainability of our codebase.
• Ensure the security and privacy of user data and the application.
• Assist in app deployment, release processes, and app store submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Continuously monitor and enhance app performance, stability, and responsiveness.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in Android application development
• 3 years ecperience with React Native. (APPLICANTS WITH LESS THAN THE REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED)
• Very high proficiency using firebase.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the React Native framework.
• Solid understanding of Android-specific UI/UX guidelines and best practices.
• Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for staying updated with the latest mobile technologies and trends.
• Working Knowledge of bug tracking tool – TRELLO

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:

• Test case/script designing
• Knowledge of TRELLO
• Bug reporting
• Experience with native Android development (Java/Kotlin).
• Published apps on Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
