Salary: 500,000 Naira monthly net

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:
Your main responsibility is to increase our websites’ visibility and rank higher in search engine results pages [SERPS] through technical and on-page SEO tactics. Additionally, you are to:
- Conduct extensive keyword research to identify relevant keywords and phrases related to the website's niche. Analyse search volume, competition, and user intent to prioritise target keywords for optimisation.
- Develop and execute link building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites. Implement tactics such as guest blogging, broken link building, and outreach campaigns to increase the website's domain authority.
- Optimise on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and content to align with target keywords and improve search engine visibility. Ensure website content is optimised for both users and search engines, focusing on readability and relevance.
- Conduct technical audits to identify and resolve issues that may affect the website's crawlability, indexing, and overall performance. Optimise website structure, URL structure, and internal linking for better search engine accessibility.
- Have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement technical SEO recommendations and troubleshoot website issues. Collaborate with web developers to implement SEO best practices and ensure website code is optimised for search engines.
- Assess website performance, user experience, and search engine rankings through comprehensive website audits. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance website performance and visibility.
- Collaborate with our writers to optimise content for target keywords and user intent.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates. Use analytics tools to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve SEO performance.
- Analyse competitor websites and industry trends to identify opportunities and gaps in the market. Conduct thorough research to understand user behaviour and search patterns to inform SEO strategies.
- Develop comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the website's goals, target audience, and competitive landscape. Align SEO strategies with broader digital marketing initiatives to maximise results and ROI.
- Continuously monitor keyword trends and search engine algorithms to adapt SEO strategies accordingly. Identify new keyword opportunities and adjust targeting based on evolving search trends.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise website performance, content, and user experience for improved search engine visibility. Regularly review and refine optimisation tactics based on performance metrics and industry best practices.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO HAVE:
You must have:
- 4-5 years experience as an SEO Specialist, with a track record of successful SEO campaigns and improved organic search rankings.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and others.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website development platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
